Cascade Car Show on the grass, presented by Tires, Inc.

CALLING ALL GEARHEADS! Register now for a weekend hot cars and smokin’ barbecue! The annual Cascade Car Show on the grass, sponsored by Tires, Inc. is coming to Stan Hedwall Park, in Chehalis for a huge two days this summer! The show on the grass will go on rain or shine from 10 am - 4 pm, Saturday, July 7, and Sunday, July 8. Registration for show-day entries begins at 9:00 am each day.

All makes and models are welcome. Nothing but chrome? Sweet! Nothing but rust? Awesome! In progress? Show us what you’ve done so far! Two-wheels? Yep. Motorcycles and vintage bikes are also encouraged to participate. Pickup? Heck yeah! Vintage. Antique. Classic. Hot rod. Rat rod. Stock. Custom. Modified. Everyone is welcome. If you can get it here, you can show it! And… we’re parking everything ON THE GRASS!

Early bird registration prior to April 30 is only $25 per vehicle for both days. Registration after April 30 will be $35. If you choose to participate only one day, you can register for $20 per vehicle. There’s no limit to the number of vehicles you can enter! Dash plaques and goody bags will be handed out for the first 100 cars to arrive at the event.

There are so many fun things planned. The legendary Wolfman will be spinning vinyl and providing true 50’-style entertainment both days! You’ll definitely want to fuel up at the Lead Foot - $4.00 Biscuits & Gravy Driver’s Breakfast. Breakfast will be from 9:00 – 11:00 am both days. And don’t forget the shopping! Vendors will be on hand with auto-related products for you gear heads and other fun as well.

There will be music on-stage providing fantastic entertainment. Plus, the Cascade Country Cook-off Barbecue Competition and Best Barbecue Burger Battle will be held on-site, and drivers can participate in those competitions too!

Judging of vehicles will begin at 2:00 pm each day. Trophies will be awarded at 4:00 pm each day. The categories encompass 110 years of automotive history and include categories such as "Antique pre1949" and "Classic 1960-1969" to “Muscle Car 1964-1972” and “Motorcycles-Classic (all years).” There truly is something for everyone at this show. Specialty awards will be given out as well, including an award for the “Best Club Display”.

The vehicle display should be incredibly diverse as we have classes for everyone, starting all the way back in 1900 and moving through the present. There are classes for stock, modified, street rods, rat rods, pickups, motorcycles, “in-progress” and many others. Special thanks goes out to this year’s presenting sponsor, Tires, Inc. of Chehalis.

Admission to the public is free and everyone is welcome.
